Since Emma & my birthday is one day apart (myself on 17th March, Emma on 18th March),we celebrated our birthday together with our close friends, Saadiah and Kak Nona at Red Box Karaoke, The Curve. Later, our birthday boy, Husny who happens to share the same birthday with Emma joined us. Saadiah bought us Black Forest birthday cake (thank you Saadiah!) to relieve us from making our own birthday cake! But still we made our cupcakes to share...All in all, it was fun and a memorable day for us :)Hope to celebrate with you all again next year, INSYAALLAH !
Now is April, my oh my how time flies!! We had an order from our friend, Nasry & Shikin asking us to make wedding cakes for Shikin's brother. The theme is green, white & black...we were cracking our heads to decorate this cake with these 3 colors! But the result is as you can see we put in lots of green roses with leaves with white background and black writing. Next is Shikin's birthday cake, her birthday falls the next day of her brother's wedding, what a coincidence! She likes roses a lot (her wedding kenduri was full of red roses) so we decorated her cakes with roses. We also had a repeat customer, Kak Intan who ordered the same engagement cake (2 layered vanilla cheese & chocolate moist) but the color theme this time is light purple and she doesn't want any writing on the cake, so what we did is we put in a lot of white roses with purple background to make it more romantic :)
